POND’S FEMINA MISS INDIA DELHI 2013 WINNERS UNVEILED!

The glamorous event began with Siddharth Kannan welcoming the guests and dignitaries. Marking the completion of 50 years, a Journey AV encompassing the spectacular journey of Femina Miss India's glorious 50 years was showcased. This was followed by a splendid performance by the sensational singer Shibani Kashyap, who also sung the Pond's Femina Miss India 2013 50th Year track. The audience were also entertained with a power packed performance by Banjara- an Odissi and Belly Dance Fusion Troupe who won many accolades at shows like India's Got Talent Season 1 and Just Dance. Stand-up comedians Amit Tandon and Abhijit Ganguly were seen entertaining the audience, leaving them asking for more. Hotel Kempinski Ambience at East Delhi played the perfect host to the pageant. 

Fourteen contestants, who were shortlisted from over two hundred aspirants in the auditions, presented a fine display of charm, poise and determination, making it a tough decision for the judges. The selection process for the contestants spanned over four days of intense grooming and meticulous training that the girls were conditioned to. Various sub contests like 'Pond's Femina Miss Glowing Skin', 'Yamaha Ray Femina Miss Adventurous', 'PCJ Femina Miss Timeless Beauty' etc. were held to give the contestants a taste of the competition awaiting them at the Delhi city pageant finale. 

Finally, Pond's Femina Miss India Delhi 2013 wrapped up the pageant finale with Anukriti Gusain as Pond's Femina Miss India Delhi winner, Vijaya Sharma as Pond's Femina Miss India Delhi 1 st runner-up and Srishti Rana as Pond's Femina Miss India Delhi 2 nd runner-up. 

Commenting on the occasion, Marc Robinson, Director Operations-Contestant and Creative- Femina Miss India said, "Delhi is a true representation of Indian women who are Beautiful, talented and vivacious. The selected 14 finalists are the perfect combination of beauty and brains, who I am sure will leave no stone unturned in their endeavour to win the coveted title. They have the poise, drive, determination and the confidence to make it big in the Indian fashion and film industry, I wish them all the best". 

Pond's expert Dr. Rashmi Shetty was seen giving her advice to the 14 finalists at Pond's Femina Miss India Delhi 2013. 

The Delhi Finale saw the finalists walking the first round in a special collection created for the event by Max, leading international value fashion brand and official fashion partner of Pond's Femina Miss India 2013. 

The girls were next seen in the PC Jewelry round, showcasing the exquisite diamond collection being complimented by the special cocktail collection by Satya Paul. 

Followed to this, they were seen in Jaya Misra's gorgeous Tusk White and Earthy Gowns. The make-up for the Pond's Femina Miss India Delhi 2013 Finalists was done by Make-up expert- Cory Walia's team, using the Lakme line of products and the hair was glamorously styled by TRESemme, giving the girls a perfect Stylish Diva look.

To ensure national representation of the contestants and celebrate the glorious golden jubilee, auditions and selections are initiated from regions across India. The pageant selection process has been divided into 5 Zones. The North Zone constitutes of Delhi, Chandigarh, Amritsar, Shimla, Jammu & Dehradun and South Zone of Chennai, Hyderabad & Bangalore. Kolkata & Guwahati falls in the East and Goa, Nagpur, Pune, Jaipur & Ahmedabad in the West Zone. The Central Zone consists of Indore & Lucknow, portraying a national representation of the title.
